Get all the clues in this virtual treasure hunt and find all 10 pieces of the Paizi so you can conquer the last challenge in China.
Explore the Streets of Venice, Italy
Venice traded with the Byzantine Empire and the Muslims and was Europe’s most flourishing city in the 13th century. However, there’s still an area that remained a mystery for this city – the Great Kublai Khan’s Empire. Learn about young Marco’s past and his life before he was asked to join his father a journey across Asia to meet the Great Kahn. Take one final look around your hometown before you leave and take everything in – because you won’t be returning for a long time.
After taking one last look of your hometown, father hands you a map that you’ll have to label correctly in preparation for your voyage. With only the countries labelled on the map, will Marco be up to the task and proceed with the voyage?
Plotting The World Map
The World Map is the first puzzle you’ll need to solve. Plot all 8 cities in their respective countries, otherwise, you won’t be able to proceed with your journey. Pass this Geography test and you’ll receive another note from your father and your uncle praising you of your knowledge and allowing you to continue with your journey.
The Golden Amulet from Kublai Khan
Board the ship to take you out of Venice! However, the ship’s captain is asking for payment in the form of green gems. You need to pay the captain in full by giving him the total number of green gems you spotted in Venice! How many did you see when taking the final look of your hometown? Perhpas 17 was the correct number of gems. Or was it 18? Once you’ve paid the captain correctly, you’ll be able to board his ship and continue your voyage. The boat now sets sail.
The Golden Amulet or Paizi is a gift that Kublai Khan gave to your father to allow him to travel safely through treacherous lands. Sadly, you dropped it! To keep the Paizi pieces together, you’ll have to find all 10 Paizi pieces throughout your journey and keep them save. At the end of your journey, You’ll need all of them as proof.
Journey to Constantinople, Acre, and Jerusalem
In the Constantinople room, you’ll be asked to look around again. Had trouble recollecting the number of gems? Well, to ensure that does not happen again, you’ll have to look around the room to find for clues. In the Acre room, you have to answer questions about Marco Polo’s journey in this city. Once you’ve answered the question correctly, you’ll receive a Piazi piece. You’ll then be asked to buy 6 camels using 25,000 Venetian coins. When you succeed in purchasing your camels, your father will ask how much his change will be. Provide the correct answer to move on to the next rooms.
In the Jerusalem room, need to match three Kings to their significant moments in history. After you’re done answering the question, you’ll be asked to find the Church of the Holy Sepulchre from the picture. Type in the correct answers and continue with your travels.
Travel to Other Cities
After you’ve done the three rooms, you’ll travel to Baghdad, Hormuz, Balk, Samar Kand, and Dun Huang. Each room has its distinct puzzles and questions that you need to solve before reaching the final stage and the treasure.
