Krimson Knight Hacker Escape
The release of Siliao-X in Singapore
It’s the year 2023 in Singapore and the hacker, Krimson Knight, has introduced Siliao-X to the island state. Siliao-X is a computer virus, an insidious trojan worm, that aims to seize the world’s electronic device system via the internet and was declared by the hacker to be “the world’s greatest hack”.
It’s reported that Siliao-X has defeated Australia and the United States and now has arrived in Singapore – disrupting power systems, affecting utility systems and turning off traffic lights. What’s particularly frightening is that Siliao-X is also spreading fake news via social media; people are no longer able to determine what is real and what is fake, they don’t know who to trust anymore, and chaos is ensuing.

Top 5 Hybrid Team Building Activities to Consider
Team building provides an excellent opportunity to inspire creativity and encourage colleagues to find new ways to work together. There are usually two ways they can play the games: Physical games, where everyone gets together in-person to participate, and virtual games, where your meet plays bonding games online.
There is a third option. Hybrid team building lets you combine both physical and virtual environments so that everyone can take part, no matter where they are at that time. Not only can you involve every member, but you’ll retain the team’s safety.
Making Teams’ hybrid team games
Virtual Escape Room and Amazing Race Online are popular games that companies enjoy sending team members on, and they provide ample opportunities for hybrid activities. However, there are several more you can sign up for. Here’s a quick look at some ideas:
1. Art Creation
The goal of Art Creation is for team members to recreate a portion of an image given to them. The tools include a blank canvas, brushes and paint. Once all slices of the picture are collected, they’re presented together to see the result. The company provides an image that will match the game’s theme or corporate values.
The physical team gathers in a boardroom or meeting space with a whiteboard. All their slices are placed together to see how closely the final image matches the original. For the virtual members, they take photos with their phones and send them through. We used photo-editing apps or a virtual whiteboard to place all the pieces together.
Some benefits of this hybrid game are that it promotes creativity in the team and encourages problem-solving. It also shows how each member’s participation in the company contributes to its success as a whole.
2. Escape Room
The Virtual Escape Room team building game is excellent for creating a challenging environment. Participants are placed in a scenario where they use clues and objects to find their way out before it’s too late. Companies can also customise the rooms to reflect the corporate colours or themes.
Team members in the office or physical environment can interact with virtual members via smartphone or a central computer to assist with solving the clues in the virtual escape room. They’ll receive the same papers and other physical items to ensure they participate as much as possible. It’s an incredible way to improve communication in the workplace.
3. Amazing Race
If your team likes exotic locations and landmarks from around the world, don’t miss out on the Amazing Race corporate team building event. Live participants will walk from various stations to stores in the city or open parks. There are clues they’ll need to solve to discover where they need to go next. Depending on the theme, it could be anywhere close to or far away from the company premises depending on the theme.
Virtual players can still assist their team members. We set up conferencing tools at the various stations so they can hear the clues and provide some guidance on what they should do next. The benefits of working together on the Amazing Race Online include reconnecting with colleagues, advanced problem-solving and improved communication.
4. Cocktails Shakers
This team-building game works well in industries where alcohol is involved or just to spice up the workplace mood. A mixologist will present some cocktail recipes, and the teams will try their best to see who can replicate them. They’ll also have the opportunity to make their own cocktails as part of the second phase.
Virtual contestants will have samples and bottles sent to their homes so they can also participate. The top benefit of Cocktail Shakers is that teams can learn to collaborate better, even while remotely working together. It’s also an excellent ice breaker for new staff members.
5. Hybrid Photo Face-Off
One of the easiest ways to get all your team members together for a fun activity is Hybrid Photo Face-Off. As with Virtual Escape Room and the Amazing Race corporate team building, both physical and virtual participants will receive a brief with themes and objectives. They’ll need to deliver the best photography in any way possible.
With office and home teams, each side can decide who will take or download photos and who will perform the photo editing. The members will form stronger bonds while sharing their love for photography. It’s also an incredible opportunity for colleagues to create photo albums!
