You are the famous Italian merchant, explorer, and writer. As a boy you were one of the first Westerners to travel the infamous Silk Road. At each stop travel choices await you as you pick the next destination on your journey. Travel to Jerusalem to return the holy oil to the city, bargain for camels in Acre to travel across the desert, speak to the wise monks, visit a bazaar in Baghdad and buy the food supplies you need for your next leg, visit the mysterious cities of Samarkand and the famous singing dunes at Dunhuang before you finally find your way to the lost city of Xanadu, where you will meet Kublai Khan and prove yourself worthy to him of joining his court in China.
Along the way you will collect the pieces for the golden Piazzi, which you must show the Khan when you arrive in Xanadu.
